Insurance
Insurance is a prerequisite of GCC registration. Full membership of the MCA entitles you to take out cover under the MCA's bloc policy for Treatment and Public and Product liability (cover £5 million). This policy is negotiated with Balens to specifically meet the needs of MCA members and offers an extremely high level of cover at a members' discounted rate. The bloc insurance sheme also includes access to a free legal advice line, provided by DAS.

The MCA works in partnership with Blue Lizard Marketing to place McTimoney stories in national media such as magazines, newspapers and websites. We aim to produce publicity materials and guidance which will help you promote your practice. You can use the MCA logo and special copyrighted photos.
Protects your interests
The MCA represents your views and interests to not only the General Chiropractic Council and its various Committees such as the Communications Advisory Group and Professional Associations group, but also to the Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence (CHRE) and the National Institute for Clinical Excellence. The MCA also has representatives within organisations with a wider remit, such as the Parliamentary Group for Integrated and Complementary Health (PGICH), the Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance (ARMA), the British Standards Institute (BSI) and internationally via the International Chiropractors Association (ICA).

Provides CPD events run by McTimoney Events
We are committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and the Association gives members substantial discounts off all postgraduate training courses, workshops, seminars, lecture programmes and conferences. Specifically designed to meet the needs of chiropractors, all courses lead to the attainment of certificates which are suitable for your GCC CPD requirements and also insurance obligations.
Benevolent Fund
An awards scheme, in the form of contributions to MCA membership fees and/or CPD costs, to support members suffering extreme financial hardship.
Supports the McTimoney 'family'
The MCA recognises the importance that our members attach to the uniqueness of the McTimoney method and the kinship you feel with other McTimoney chiropractors.
