Osteomyelitis

Osteomyelitis is an inflammation which occurs in the bone marrow and surrounding bone. It is caused by infection and symptoms can include fever, localised tenderness, swelling, decreased joint mobility, feelings of irritability and an overall feeling of being unwell. Treatment can include medication, guided imagery, using herbal remedies, homeopathy, acupuncture and use of vitamin supplements
