Sciatica

The sciatic nerve passes through the pelvis. Sciatica refers specifically to the irritation of the sciatic nerve, characterised by a tingling feeling down the side of the leg which can sometimes result in numbness. Anti-inflammatory medications, alternating temperature therapies are commonly used in treatment of Sciatica, however in some more severe cases surgery may be required. Acupuncture, chiropractic, osteopathy and massage are natural treatment options for Sciatica
