SERVICES
Ultrasound
Ultrasound is the application of a very high frequency vibration to the soft tissue. It is painless, has a stimulating effect on the blood circulation, and helps with swelling.
Electrotherapy
Interferential Therapy helps a lot with pain. It has a mild ‘pins and needles’ sensation, and also has a beneficial effect on the blood circulation and swelling.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves the insertion of extremely fine sterile needles into specific points on the body. Ged is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
The Bowen Technique
Bowen is a most effective, non-invasive form of therapy. It is unlike any other treatment, and involves a precise series of firm but gentle moves over connective tissue (muscles and ligaments) with thumb and fingers. The touch is light, not manipulative, and is suitable for all ages and abilities. It is invigorating and relaxing.
Mobilisation (to help get your movement back)
Exercises (to help your specific condition)
Taping (to support your injury)
