Initial Appointment
The initial appointment is to allow a through examination to be carried out before treatment takes place. This is important as many disorders such as Diabetes, arthritis and circulatory disorders can significantly effect treatment. Indeed it is often the chiropodist who is the first person to spot some disorders, especially in the early days.
An initial appointment can last up to 45 minutes. At this time medical an surgical histories may be requested.
A complete examination of the feet and lower limbs will be made to establish the underlining cause of your foot problems.
After the initial diagnosis we will discuss the options available to you. Before any treatment is agreed.
