Amatsu therapy is a unique method of pain and mobility management ideal for those looking for a natural, complementary approach to treat the physical symptoms of injuries, accidents, illness, pregnancy and stress.
SERVICES
Welcome to Amatsu in the City It is a truly holistic treatment that uses soft tissue pressure and mobilisation techniques to treat the whole body, not just the symptoms. Working with muscles and ligaments, spinal dynamics and organ associations allows a greater corrective impact on the areas of pain or restriction and, in turn, consolidates the healing process.
Amatsu therapy's unique movement orientated techniques engage with the body's soft tissue and initiate movement at an injury site. This helps to release painful spasms or restrictions around the injury and, therefore, supports the rebuilding of healthy neurological patterns and global body balance. At each session your treatment will be individually tailored, according to your requirements on the day.
This innovative, client led therapy made an enormous difference to my health and wellbeing and my enthusiasm for it keeps growing.

The Treatment An Amatsu therapy treatment is referred to as a 'balance' and usually lasts 45-60 minutes. Most treatments are carried out fully clothed.
On your first visit a detailed personal history will be taken and you will be given the time to talk fully about your problem. You will then be assessed using a combination of observation, orthopaedic tests, muscle tests and palpation (touch).
I will then build a treatment plan that meets your needs using a combination of the following soft tissue techniques:
- Anma massage
- natural movement orientated mobilisation
- re-patterning
- proprioceptive balancing
- visceral (organs) and cranial balancing
About MeI have been practising Amatsu therapy since 2006. Discovering and training in Amatsu therapy has been a very personal journey for me. It was recommended as an effective treatment for my inflammatory joint problem and I was so impressed with the reduction in my pain and improved flexibility that I was inspired to study so that I could offer this therapy to others in search of pain relief.
My training in Amatsu therapy began with an intensive two year course covering anatomy and physiology as well as specific Amatsu therapy techniques. Since 2006 I have taken further training in visceral (organ) balancing and movement techniques. I am committed to a minimum of 4 days continued professional development (CPD) training each year, I am First Aid qualified and regulated by both the Amatsu Therapy Association (ATA) and the Complementary Therapy Association (CThA).
Testimonials"Suzanne and Amatsu have helped me more than anybody. I have been suffering with migraines for many years and unfortunately it took a turn for the worse where I had a continuous migraine every day for 2.5 months. After only a few treatments, I was pain free and migraine free and I have only had an occasional headache since. Amatsu has given me my life back and I feel better and more energetic than I have in a long while. I highly recommend this treatment to anyone in pain."
Charlotte Raben, London
"I suffered with extreme pain in my lower back, leg and into my foot. My GP diagnosed me with sciatica and prescribed drugs to ease the pain, but these made me feel dizzy and very tired. I looked for an alternative and Amatsu was recommended to me. I was really impressed as the pain lessened after the first treatment and completely disappeared after a series of treatments. I am extremely grateful to Suzanne for the difference Amatsu has made to me."
John, East London
"I strained a ligament in my left knee playing football and it was taking a long time to heal so a colleague recommended I try Amatsu. The treatments really made a difference, strengthening the knee again and speeding up my recovery. It has been 3 months since my Amatsu sessions and my knee still feels as good as new."
Stephen, North London
"When I first found Amatsu I had been suffering from debilitating chronic fatigue (M.E.) for five years. I had spent a lot of money on various 'cures', tablets and theories to little or no effect. I have been treated by Suzanne only a couple of times so far, but already feel more energetic than I have in years. I strongly recommend anyone frustrated by illness or discomfort of any kind to try this highly effective therapy."
Pierre, North London
