Welcome to Academy of Holistic Hypnotherapy
After 20 years as a healer, Costa Lambrias formally trained and qualified as a clinical hypnotherapist in 1990. Since then he has devised his own unique process of working with clients under the banner of what Costa calls therapy with consciousness! This entails the therapist having an appreciation of the human condition and each person's potential to lead a happy life, an understanding of what affects the psyche, and how trauma, abuse and suppressed emotions not only impact on the mind, but on the body too.
Costa's understanding of how the sub-conscious works means that he can carefully apply gentle yet very effective processes to resolve the most persistent problems in just a few sessions.
By offering a safe environment for positive changes to take place Costa has a high success rate across the board, (smoking, nail-biting, performance, eating disorders, etc.) but specialises in increasing confidence and self-esteem and in healing the childhood. Indeed Costa has intuited, developed and refined a safe yet very powerful Inner Child process which he enjoys teaching to other hypnotherapists and psychotherapists, but derives the most satisfaction from using the process with clients on a one-to-one basis, sometimes with extraordinary results.
Costa's successes in hypnotherapy, as well as in the more specialised fields of past life healing and soul retrieval therapies, have gained him recognition in this country and abroad. In the UK he has appeared on national and local TV and radio, as well as in newspapers and magazines. As a founder member of the now 500-strong Hypnotherapy Association, Costa is proud to further the ethical practice of hypnotherapy as the Association's recent Chairman (2001-2006) and current Professional Standards Officer. He recently featured as one of the ten leading hypnotherapists in Britain in the "Independent on Sunday" (23rd March 2003).
