Janine is a massage therapist with over 5 years experience in Swedish massage and Hopi Ear Candling, she is ITEC qualified and insured by FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists)
Janine adopts a holistic approach to her treatments helping to heal the body as a whole and regain balance by taking a full consultation and listening to her clients to help them reach the root of any unbalance.
Past clients include people of all ages from young children with glue ear to the elderly with mobility difficulties.
All routines are standard however as each person is different emphasis maybe given to specific areas in which you are experiencing problems.
A full consultation will be taken prior to treatment this will incur an additional fee of £5 for admin, please allow an extra 15/20mins for this.
Likisma Aromatherapy products are used during treatments and are available for you to order.
Likisma offer a range of products from ready blended to individual oils and carriers so you can blend your own.
Demonstrations are available on request and can be themed e.g. skin care, children, pets, and many more.

WHY MASSAGE?
Massage manipulates the muscles in your body helping blood to flow more freely, releasing harmful toxins that have built up causing discomfort.
Different techniques are used during massage and these can compliment each other whilst benefiting the treatment as a whole. These techniques can also be used to target specific ‘problem’ areas.
Massage is very beneficial to all and all treatments are adapted to suit the Individual based on a full consultation being taken. Massage can help reduce stress and anxiety, boost self esteem and helps to tone and firm up the skin
HAND AND ARM MASSAGE
An excellent treatment for those with a busy lifestyle who want an ‘express’ experience or a ‘quick fix’
The benefits of this massage is it can dramatically help with RSI (repetitive Strain Injury) caused by keyboard work or for those that ‘hold’ stress in their hands.
Hand Arm massage works the muscles to relieve aches and built up toxins, it also has a warming effect on a cold winter’s day by boosting circulation to the extremities. Can be received in a lunch break!
LIKISMA DELUX HEALTHY HANDS
This treatment combines a Likisma hand soak, hand mask and moisturising massage.
FEET AND LEGS
This treatment can revive tired feet and legs whilst improving circulation and reducing fluid retention. Excellent for the elderly of for those who are on their feet all day? Can be received in a lunch break!
LIKISMA DELUX HEALTHY FEET
This is a foot soak/scrub with peppermint products followed by a relaxing massage.
HEAD SHOULDER AND NECK
Another great treatment for busy people.
The benefits are it relieves aches and pains from prolonged PC work, and reduces headaches.
This massage unblocks the muscles and stress knots preventing oxygenated blood to flow through the body and helps with upper body mobility.
HEAD SHOULDER BACK AND NECK
An extension on above. This treatment can help to increase mobility and bad or incorrect posture. Can be a deep massage to work the muscles or light for an indulgent experience
LIKISMA DELUX HEALTHY SKIN
This Routine starts with a Likisma gentle face scrub followed by a mask, cleanse, tone and finishes with a moisturising massage.
AROMATHERAPY MASSAGE
This treatment is offered using Likisma pre blended oils which are: HARMONY TRANQUILITY RELAXING and SENSUAL. All these oils have been blended to the highest quality and as all Likisma products are available to order. These pre blended oils can be used in combination with any listed treatment.
COURSES BEING RUN
Introduction to Aromatherapy.
This is a 6 week course which will give an overview of the use of Aromatherapy. We will cover the history, learn about the safe use of oils for yourself, friends and family and look in more detail at the most popular oils.
During the six weeks you will be mixing and blending your own products using the skills and knowledge you have acquired.
Covered in the cost of the course is an introductory kit which will be used during the course and will see you through and beyond with Aromatherapy.
Cost is £75.00 per person (min 6 people) £50 is required as deposit to secure your place upon booking, remaining £25 is payable 1 week prior to start of course. Please contact to express whether you’d prefer evenings or daytime placement.

HOPI EAR CANDLING
An ancient practice. Which uses candles imbued with beeswax and St Johns Wort, the candle is inserted gently into the ear where the heat produced causes a chimney effect. This heats up the head, softening the build up of toxins and causes the inner ear muscles to vibrate.
One ear is done at time and a facial drainage massage completes the treatment and helps the body to expel toxins.
This is very good for reducing snoring, helping with hay fever, preparing to dive or fly, helps with glue ear, is an excellent treatment for children and much more!
FULL BODY & FULL BODY INCLUDING SCALP AND FACE
This is a complete treatment, it includes feet, legs,
stomach, back arms and neck.
Massage uses a variety of techniques or ‘strokes’ to aid healing and compliment the treatment.
Effleurage are long gliding strokes used at the start to gently warm up your muscles, Petrissage are used to manipulate the muscles and break down the knots to release toxic build up. Tapotment is a percussive technique that is used to ‘wake up’ the muscles and encourage them to dispel the toxins that have been broken down by using the body’s natural drainage system know as the Lymphatic system.
The full body including scalp is as before with the inclusion of the scalp and face to complete that ‘spa’ experience an excellent treat or to maintain optimal health.
