The Sea of Tranquility is an Edinburgh based company, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals, both at work and in their leisure time.
Our therapists are fully qualified and insured practitioners who can provide a range of on-site therapies in the workplace. They work with employers to provide a bespoke in-house service to help relieve stress, encourage well-being and increase staff productivity.
Appointments out-with the workplace are also available in our Clermiston treatment room. Ample free on street parking available. Treatments may be available in your own home, by arrangement, depending on the location. - Baby Reflex

Our Complementary Therapists
Carol Pollard studied Reflexology with Nicola Hall of the Bayly School of Reflexology and achieved a Reflexology Diploma with Distinction. She has an ITEC Diploma in Indian Head Massage and has also completed Reiki I and II. Carol has received training in Thermo-Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candles) and she has also studied Thai Foot Massage. She is a Member of the British Reflexology Association and Embody and has an "Enhanced" Disclosure Scotland Certificate.
Elaine Gradone trained with The Edinburgh Therapy Academy and achieved ITEC Diplomas in Reflexology (Distinction), Indian Head Massage (Distinction) and Holistic Massage . She studied Thai Foot Massage with Simon Gall of the London School of Thai Massage . Elaine has received training in Thermo-Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candles) and has also recently completed Reiki I. She is a member of Embody and has an "Enhanced" Disclosure Scotland Certificate.
They have both trained as Relax Kids teachers and Baby Reflex teachers.
Carol and Elaine have attended a practitioner development course on Massage Therapy for people living with Cancer which was held by Gayle MacDonald, the author of Medicine Hands : Massage Therapy for People living with Cancer.
They have also attended a development course on Massage and Reflexology during pregnancy.
Carol is listed in the Therapies United Directory which is a free directory of professional complementary therapists which was initially established to aid staff at Maggie's Centre in Edinburgh.
They are passionate about Complementary Therapies and get great pleasure from treating people and seeing the improvements that people experience. They also enjoy receiving treatments themselves and are continually developing their therapy skills by attending further courses.
