Welcome to SADHANAOMYOGA
What is Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
The heat produced from this practice opens and purifies the body from a cellular level. Every muscle in the body is systematically toned, and every cell refreshed. Flexibility, strength and stamina are achieved.
Yoga postures linked together through a series of flowing movements called vinyasa. Postures and vinyasa are woven together by breath - ujjayi pranayama. Internal locks, bandhas are applied throughout the practice.
Fluid smooth breathing develops, which co - ordinates with the movements and leaves the nervous system calm with a vibrant concentrated mind. This practice is dynamic, physical, breath focused and rewarding.
Relaxation is incorporated to release tensions from body mind and spirit.
Requirements
A yoga mat.
Loose clothing allowing good freedom of movement. Try not to eat at least 90 mins before class.
