Welcome to Devon Dental Centre of Excellence
As from 30th April 2009 we are changing our name from Croydon House Dental Implant Centre to the Devon Dental Centre of Excellence. We decided to change our name to reflect that we now offer every possible specialist dental treatment here at Croydon House, as well as pain-free general dentistry for adults and children. Our extended facilities provide increased patient comfort and relaxation and we are proud to provide training to qualified dentists from throughout the UK and the world here in Ashburton- If you are one of our patients already, your own dentist will be here for you as normal
- Additional specialist clinicians – Dr John Sweet (Periodontist – gum treatment), Professor StJohn Crean (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery - difficult extractions), Amelia Jerreat (Orthodontist - braces) and Mathew Jerreat (Restorative Dentistry - crowns, implants, veneers, bridges) - have now joined the practice
- Lindsey Wright joins Clare Mcilwaine in the Dental Hygiene team

The Devon Dental Centre of Excellence
The dental surgery was first established in 1928 by Arthur Trustcott, making it the most established dental practice in Ashburton.
The practice has recently completed a major refurbishment and extension, which has created a light and tranquil environment for patients and staff all on the ground floor with wheelchair access. We currently have 6 dentists, 2 surgical specialist's and 2 hygienists treating private patients.
