About Gordon Faith
Gordon Faith was an actor and BBC broadcaster for twenty years. He worked extensively teaching Standard English with the "English by Radio" team at BBC Bush House.
He studied Speech with the renowned Cicely Berry and Phonetics with Greta Colson.
He has been a freelance teacher of speech, phonetics and radio technique for the past eighteen years. During this time he has held teaching posts at several London drama schools. He is currently Head of Speech at "The Method Studio" in London (formally Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute). Prior to that he was Head of Speech at both the London Academy of Performing Arts and the London Theatre School.
He has taught at ALRA (Academy of Live & Recorded Arts); Webber Douglas Academy; the Academy of Dramatic Arts; Rose Bruford College; Mountview Theatre School; Italia Conti Academy Degree Course; Richmond Upon Thames College; Carleton Hobbs Radio Award winner Guildford Acting School.
He also lectures on theatre for American Universities in London and is Speech Advisor to the Zen Centre.
