Holistic therapies help to restore health and well-being in mind, body and soul.
Holistic medicine aims to treat a person as a whole rather than just the symptoms or particular disorder. It takes account of the individual's lifestyle, their emotions, levels of stress, mental attitude, diet, and past experiences and relationships.
The treatments can benefit those with chronic conditions and can also work alongside conventional medicine to help alleviate symptoms of ill-health and promote a feeling of well-being.
I provide a range of therapies to promote a deep sense of relaxation and to provide relief from the stresses of everyday living. I am particularly interested in the 'holistic' approach to health and well-being, the connection between the mind and the body, and how the state of one affects the other. Holistic therapies work on all levels to restore the balance in mind body and soul.
About Me
I am a qualified IIHHT therapist with many years' experience, and a fully insured member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists. I am qualified to advanced level in Aromatherapy and Reflexology.
In 2005 I undertook further intensive training in a new advanced form of bodywork, No Hands® Massage, which is the fastest growing new massage therapy in the UK. I work from a clinic alongside other health professionals, providing a range of treatments: Aromatherapy Massage, No Hands� Massage, Sports and Therapeutic Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, and Level 2 Reiki.
I also work from a salon in the centre of Chester, with particular focus on the lunchtime market, and am available for mobile treatments in the comfort of your own home.
