About David McCabe BSc (Hon's) Ost Med DO ND
Osteopathy / Naturopathy
David is a clinic director and commenced studying for his degree in Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. He was an annual prize winner throughout his studies and qualified from the Internationally acclaimed British College of Osteopathic Medicine (formerly British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy) in London. He also qualified with a Diploma in Naturopathy with several papers being published in critically acclaimed journals.
David returned to Scotland and set up his own practice in 2004, this has grown year-on-year to become the highly successful Back2Life Clinic. David lectures on Anatomy & Physiology and was invited to lecture in the Helsinki Osteopathic University in 2005. He also assisted at the Scottish Senior Athletic Championships.
David has special interests in Golf biomechanics (though he needs to play more to improve his own handicap!); Sports injuries and clinical nutrition.
His hobbies include Formula 1; Golf; and has completed 4 triathlons and finally achieved his goal of completing a marathon when he impressed in the Amsterdam marathon in 2008.
He is a devoted Dad to David (sometimes providing reception cover) and Aiden (sometimes wrecking reception!).
