My treatment philosophy centers on the therapeutic power of touch. Health is a manifestation of balance. When the flow of energy is smooth and unhindered, the body's ability to maintain health is enhanced. Shiatsu for health enables the body to release deeply held tension thus encouraging a healing response.
Shiatsu - The Art of Healing Through Touch
Shiatsu is a form of bodywork originating in Japan. It is both a form of physical therapy and a means of greater integration of body, mind and spirit - a holistic therapy.
The principles of Shiatsu are rooted in the traditions of oriental medicine and use similar energy channels and points as in acupuncture, involving non-invasive and intuitive touch combined with highly skilled stretching and mobilization techniques.
A session lasts one hour and is given with the person fully clothed. It takes place in a peaceful room on a futon on the floor, or a specialized chair if preferred. Following an initial assessment of your health condition, each session will be unique and tailored to individual needs.
Vortex Healing® Divine Energy Healing
VortexHealing is an energetic healing art from the Merlin lineage that works solely with divine light and consciousness.
It derives its name from a particular energy-vortex that is the interface between our physical world and a special divine healing realm that is accessed in this art.
