Chiropractic is a safe, Scientific and incredible therapy.
It is a natural way of creating optimum spinal health, so that the nervous system can do it’s job of running the body, providing you with the energy you need to get the best out of life.
What does a Chiropractor do?
Chiropractors use their hands to locate joints which are not moving properly, creating a quick impulse in order to free them. This is called an adjustment.
The muscles can then start to work normally and the spine will gradually return to its optimal working condition.
What happens on a first visit?
On your first visit, the Chiropractor will ask you about your problem as well as your medical and health history.
Then the Chiropractor will carry out a detailed examination of the spine, the upper limbs, lower limbs and test your nerves to see if they are functioning as they should.
However, Chiropractors don't just work with the spine. Cardiff Bay Chiropractic work with many other conditions such as those associated with the upper and lower limbs.
What is a report of findings?
All of the information that you gave the Chiropractor at your first visit has been carefully assessed and you will be told what has been found. Your treatment plan will be discussed with you. If you agree, you will then have your first treatment. All treatments are specific to you and are tailored to your needs.

I was first introduced to chiropractic in Sydney Australia by Dr Andrew Richards. Working with him as his Spinal and Sports Injury Rehabilitation Specialist, I received adjustive treatment from him for my chronic lower back condition.
It was not long before I realised how powerful chiropractic is.
My lower back condition was eased and my rugby improved! I became fascinated by what
Dr Richards achieved with his patients, young or old, elite athlete to office worker, not just relieving their pain, but improving their function, performance and most importantly their quality of life. I wanted to be able to do that.
Five years later in 2006 I graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic and have now owned Cardiff Bay Chiropractic for 3 years.
I am privileged to be a Chiropractor, I love my work and I look forward to helping you very soon.

New patients are always welcome at Cardiff Bay Chiropractic.
Just call our clinic for an appointment. A thorough consultation and examination is followed by a full report of our findings.
We will take you through our findings so that by the end of your report you will fully understand the nature and cause of your problem.
A schedule of care will be designed to meet your needs and it will then be up to you to decide whether you wish to proceed with Chiropractic care.

Last year I developed Bell’s Palsy during pregnancy. One side of my face had no movement or feeling at all and as a result my speech and sight were both affected. I was also suffering from severe, crippling headaches.
Ben quickly helped me to re-gain facial movement and to eliminate all facial and head tension.
Throughout the sessions Ben remained supportive and reassuring, which was particularly important to me during a physically painful and emotionally difficult time of pregnancy.
