THE PRACTITIONER
I am a qualified Registered Nurse and a Doctor of Homeopathic Medicine with over 20 years experience. I am also a qualified acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese Patent Medicines. I am the originator of the ''black box'' biophysical therapy system that is used in many addiction centres throughout the UK. This is a form of electro stimulation therapy often described as needle free acupuncture. I appeared on the ‘Richard & Judy show’ with one of my clients who had detoxified from prescribed tranquillisers using this system, and on 'The Time The Place' (the programme was about therapies useful to cancer sufferers) with one of my patients who had received pain relief. I specialise in treatment for addictions and withdrawal from addictive drugs and alcohol. I am also particularly interested in treating allergies, skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne etc., chronic fatigue syndrome and anorexia nervosa.
Therapeutic protocols of my own design using 'frequency specific pulsed electrical stimulation' are now well-used and accepted in addiction clinics throughout the UK. I continue to design and run practitioner courses in needle free electro acupuncture for health care professionals, qualified therapists and addiction workers. I am committed to provide training for drug treatment organisations so that access to this type of treatment may be increased.

ELECTRO AUPUNCTURE
In the 1980’s Rodney Robinson was part of a group of acupuncturists re-examining the use of pulsed electrical stimulation from first principles. We discovered that the frequency of the pulses making up the electrical stimulation were a crucial part of the treatment.
Initially using electro-acupuncture, protocols were developed with a priority placed on moving away from invasive needling. A range of techniques were developed which formed the basis of needle free protocols that are now used in addiction clinics throughout the UK. As some of these are NHS clinics: integrative medicine come a step closer.
The umbrella term for therapies that rely on bioelectric properties of the body, electromagnetic and subtle energy fields is Biophysical Medicine.
Biophysical medicine is a safe and simple form of treatment that can be used in many fields of medicine. It is often given using specialist equipment that directs healing frequencies into the body. Small electrodes may be used over acupuncture points depending on the problem being treated. Specific pulse rates or frequency settings are used to stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms.
Radionics
Radionics is a method for analysis of diseases and for balancing the subtle energy field of biological systems.
Radionics is concerned with the context of control fields and 'subtle energies'. The term 'subtle energies' refers in this context to those forms of energy which cannot presently be objectively (physically) measured, because they are signals of very low amplitude which are masked due to the component 'noise' of electrical equipment.

CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE
Chinese herbal patents or herbal formulae are medicines manufactured from raw Chinese herbs into pills, powders or liquid extracts for ingestion as well as plasters and ointments for external application. The ingredients are based on classical or modern prescriptions.
Patents can be used alone or together with acupuncture. They are convenient to use and are cheaper than buying dried herbs. There is no boiling or preparation of raw herbs and no unpleasant taste.

ACUPUNCTURE
The classical Chinese explanation is that Channels of energy run in regular patterns through the body and over its surface. These energy channels, called meridians, are like rivers flowing through the body to irrigate and nourish the tissues. An obstruction in the movement of these ‘energy rivers’ is like a dam that backs up and causes problems. In modern acupuncture the meridians are considered as bio circuits conducting low current information thorough the body and directing its operation, healing and repair.
Needling can influence the meridians or directing other energy sources such as light, heat, pressure, and electromagnetic fields via the acupuncture points. These various forms of stimulation unblock the obstructions at the dams and re-establish the regular flow of current through the meridians. Acupuncture is commonly used to alleviate and treat painful disorders and can also treat a wide range of physical conditions such as infertility, allergies, skin conditions, gastrointestinal problems; also mental symptoms such as depression, anxiety and insomnia.
COURSES: Biophysical Options
Practitioner courses available in needle free electro acupuncture. Accepted for training are registered healthcare professionals such as nurses, and qualified complementary therapy practitioners.
Addiction courses are available to drug and alcohol treatment workers. These are one/two -day courses in either:
