I have been working for ten years as a counsellor in private practise with a wide variety of individuals of ages ranging between 8 to 69 years of age.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their Ethical Framework.
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor, a UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor and a member of the Hampshire Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (HACP).
How I Work:- My approach is to treat each client as a unique individual and to tailor my therapy to their requirements. I select methods, techniques and concepts from various approaches appropriate for each individual client, taking into account the similarities and differences between each method.
- My goal is to encourage my client's self-awareness and recognition of freedom of choice.
- My belief is that within each of us we have a potential that we can actualise and through which we can find meaning.
- My therapy is based on integrity, impartiality, and respect for all individuals regardless of race, culture or religion.
I have also worked as a counsellor for:- the Woman’s Refuge with violently abused women
- the Youth Counselling Service with adolescents
- the Parents Support team with Portsmouth City Council
- and local Secondary Schools.
