Reflexology
Reflexolgy is a natural complementary therapy which is used to maintain good heath and to assist in the treatment of many conditions and disorders, ranging from Arthritis, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Asthma, Depression, and Stress and many more. Also Reflexology relaxes the whole body and mind, and can help in problems such as sleeping disorders. The reflexes on the feet are linked to the specific body parts and organs or glands of the body. Reflexing the feet produces an effect in the corresponding part or organ.
Treatment
The treatment consists of a gentle pressure massage of specific areas or reflexes on your feet, a light to moderate massage is applyied to the lower legs to warm up the whole area before proceeding with the treatment which is enjoyable and relaxing. A full treatment session lasts approximately 45 minutes, with the initial treatment and consultation lasting just over a hour. A course of treatment generally consists of at least 4 to 6 sessions.
Effects
It aims to treat illness and disorders and maintain good heath. It is holistic in that it treats the whole person, both in body and in mind, and aims to stimulate the body's own energy forces, as a result it performs the following functions- Removes waste deposits from the feet and hands and stimulates the bodys elimination systems.
- Removes blockages from the bodys energy pathways and corrects imbalances
- Improves circulation
- Normalizes organs and gland functions
- Deeply relaxes the whole body and puts it into the relaxed healing mode as opposed to the stressed aggressive mode
About me
Im a 32 year old female living in Blackwood, Gwent,South Wales, i have had my own business doing mobile reflexologyfor 3 years now. I feel is a lot easier for the clients to have a mobile reflexologist, has i go along to their homes and they can have the treatment in the comfort of their own homes.
