Founder Samantha Walker is one of the Island's foremost yoga practitioners and qualified teachers, and is able to assess your ability to practice yoga to a specific level. Together we will work towards enabling your yoga practice to flourish without punishing your body, increasing your strength and flexibility, leaving you feeling confident and enthusiastic about your individual practice, and encouraging peace of mind and inner harmony.

Karma also offers access to classes led by some of the Island’s foremost pilates practitioners, including Alison Stockton & Lianne Gregory, who offer our clients a full range of traditional and fitness pilates classes focused on building and maintaining a strong and youthful body.
Those who are new to the practices of yoga and pilates are most welcome to take part in classes here at Karma, with no obligation or commitment to become a member of the studio.
At Karma it is our policy to accept only a limited number of students to our classes, and pride ourselves in teaching compassionately and attentively, in order that each individual student gets the attention they deserve. At Karma we also provide a warm, comfortable and sincere atmosphere in which your practice can flourish.
The Karma Studio is a unique space in which you can practice yoga and pilates on the Isle of Man. We look forward to welcoming you.
About Samantha Walker
Sammie has created a contemporary way of teaching yoga called Synchronicity Yoga, a style which incorporates all the elements of traditional asana practice, but which is taught with the individual in mind and in a much more passionate, and up to the minute in its style. It is yoga with a twist; a new edgy, spontaneous yoga that adapts to the clients needs at the time of day, year and even to the moon!
Synchronicity is especially formulated for those with an athletic or sports background. Sammie has worked with many hundreds of clients during her 14 years practicing yoga, and has extensive experience in identifying and working with the particular stresses and strains that can be caused by a lifetime spent at the desk, the gym or on the track and which can often manifest itself in pain or stiffness in the hips, neck and back.
Through cultivating an individual yoga practice suited to your own physiological and bio-mechanical blueprint, Sammie’s goal is to have you understand your own body so well that you can take what you learn in class and adapt and apply this to your life on a day to day basis. Ultimately this can lead to an intelligent mind and body connection from which a whole new understanding and appreciation of your body can emerge, creating boundless possibilities for your practice and your ongoing physical well-being.
Sammie is a World Wide Yoga Alliance and British Wheel of Yoga 200-hour accredited teacher and teacher trainer. Sammie is in the process of devising her first 500-hour accredited teacher training course, to be run here on the Isle of Man.
