Welcome to Amanda Burnett - Complementary Therapies in the Heart of Edinburgh
Originally trained in Beauty Therapy, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Swedish Massage (qualified in 1999), I quickly realised that complementary therapies were going to be my 'niche'; a discovery that led me to undertake further training in Thai Body Massage, Thai Foot Massage, and of course my main passion - Reiki.
I became a qualified Usui Reiki Master/Teacher in 2003 and quickly followed that with my Karuna Reiki Levels 1 & 2.
My interest in Reiki was sparked by a course of treatment I received during a period of ill health; I was amazed by its effects and decided then and there to discover more about it!
In 2006 I traveled to Thailand to study at the Wat Po School of Traditional Thai Massage in Bangkok; an experience never to be forgotten and another string to my bow!
So, after nearly nine years of experience in the Spa Industry, both in the UK and abroad, I decided to make the leap into self employment.
I am now located within Aditi Holistic Health, a busy yoga and therapy centre in Edinburgh's West End.
