Welcome to Elmwood Physiotherapy Clinic
Physiotherapy is a non-invasive form of treatment that addresses problems that arise in the musculoskeletal system (joints, discs, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves). The approach relies on accurate assessment, skilled techniques and appropriate advice. Elmwood Physiotherapy Clinic is under the direction of Margaret Napier, a chartered physiotherapist, registered with the Health Professions Council. She has a clear clinical philosophy in mind - to provide a high quality pain and injury treatment centre, where the underlying cause of the problem is addressed, not just the symptoms.
Why Choose us?
All our physiotherapists are very experienced and skilled and are up to date with all the latest research and developments in the management of musculoskeletal injury so that they can educate you on your problem and how to resolve it for good. Patients will receive prompt specialist physiotherapy and realistic rehabilitation programmes in order that they make an effective and rapid recovery. Excellence in clinical standards is something Elmwood Physiotherapy Clinic prides itself on.
As physiotherapists, our aim is to get to the root of your problem, not to just treat the symptoms. Therefore, at the initial appointment a detailed assessment will be made in order to reach a clinical diagnosis. To assess you fully, it can take up to one hour. We will take a thorough history and then examine you. We are versatile and will work out what is most suitable for you, providing a full package of care from assessment to recovery.
From this consultation a comprehensive treatment plan is created for each patient . We believe in helping our patients fully understand their condition and its causes so that every effort can be made to avoid a recurrence.
