Reflexology
This treatment is over 5,000 years old. Its origins have been found in China, Egypt and Native American culture. Reflexology is a simple, effective and natural therapy, which focuses on the feet and hands, which there are many nerve endings. Every part of the body has a reflex poings which correspond to parts on the feet. By working on these points it stimulates the body's own balancing and healing systems, thereby treating the whole person.
Reflexology can help with: asthma, digestive problems e.g IBS, menstral problems and stress
Indian Head Massage
This therapy has been practised in Indai for over 1,000 years. It can stimulate the circulation, to improve blood flow, which increases nutrients to the head. This has been found to promote hair growth and improve the condition of the hair and scalp. It can also eliminate muscle tension bringing about a feeling of relaxation and well-being
Reiki
Is a form of healing that is completely unconditional. It is a powerful yet simple form of hands on healing, which activates the natural healing abilities of the body. It works to bring about a balance within the person. Reiki is a non-manipulative treatment that is carrried out by the laying of hands on or above the body, through the clients clothes.
The effects of Reiki can help balance the energy in a person. Releases stress and can help release emotions.
Reiki Courses I & II
On going courses are available in November and December 2009.
Reiki I £100
This is a fun day that gives you the history of how Reiki came about, you will learn how to Reiki yourself and others. You will receive the attunements that connect you to the Reiki energy. At the end of the day you will receive a certificate of achievement and lineage and a Reiki I manual which covers the course.
Reiki II £140
Courses are available in November and December 2009
You will receive more attunements and receive the symbols and their meaning, which can increase the energy and therapy. You will also receive a certificate of achievement and a Reiki II manual, covring the course and explanation of the symbols.
