Are you struggling to lose weight?
The age old problem of losing weight has countless solutions and we offer a route that may help you if all the other things you have tried haven’t been successful.
Body Contour provide a medical solution to slimming under the supervision of a doctor.
What Happens?
When you visit us for the first time you will be asked to fill in a questionnaire giving us relevant information about yourself and some medical history. Then you will be weighed and your blood pressure taken. Our doctor will ask you some questions and assess whether you are suitable to be prescribed the slimming medication. You will also be asked about your diet and excercise habits and be given advice if necessary.
How Does It Work?
There are two types of medication available. The appetite suppressants take the edge off your appetite and help to reduce how much you eat by making you feel satisfied with less food. The second type are Lipase Inhibitors. These reduce the amount of fat your body absorbs out of the food you eat so it passes through your system undigested. The doctor will discuss which option best suits you.
Consultation is private and one to one.
Average weight loss we see is between 1/2 to 1 stone in your first month, dependant on a persons initial start weight.
