Welcome to Tamworth Physiotherapy Clinic
Treatment at the clinic is provided by Mr. Steve Harris who trained in Sheffield and qualified in 1983. He is a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, The Health Professions Council and The Orginisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice.
After qualifying, he worked at local hospitals for five years in a variety of medical fields and opened the Tamworth Physiotherapy Clinic in 1988.
The clinic specialises in treating back, neck and musculoskeletal injuries. It has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, providing high quality care with a personal touch.
Appointments can be made with or without a doctor's referral, in most cases within two days. For those clients with medical insurance, the clinic is recognised by BUPA, AXA PPP and all other medical insurance companies.
The first appointment takes about forty five minutes. THe first fifteen minutes involves discussion and examination to fully assess the condition to be treated. The diagnosis and treatment plan is then explained, followed by the treatment. If further appointments are required, these will each take thirty minutes and involve on-going assessment and treatment.
Each treatment session is on a one-to-one basis with only one patient having treatment at any given time.
The clinic is open weekdays, evenings and Saturdays.
