I graduated from the college of Osteopaths after completing a five year degree course, attaining a BSc Hons Degree in Osteopathic Medicine. I am a member of the British Osteopathic Association (BOA) and state-registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) a body concerned with the continued professional development of practitioners.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a safe, holistic, manual approach to medicine, which aims to assist our body with its natural self-healing process. Osteopaths believe that the human body has all the necessary elements to attain, and maintain, optimal health. This self-healing system enables us to recover from injury and disease. Weaknesses and imbalances which occur in the framework of the body, may compromise the health of the whole body.
Osteopaths assess the framework of the body (bones, ligaments, muscles, and connective tissue) to identify the underlying source of weakness and imbalance. Gentle, manual techniques are then used in order to ease pain, reduce swelling, improve mobility and promote self-healing.
What can we treat?
Osteopathic treatment aims to treat the person and not just the condition. Any presenting problem will be considered within the context of the whole body and how it may be affected. Osteopathy has become best known for treating back problems, although many other conditions may be successfully treated with the help of osteopathy including:

Home visits
I offer a mobile osteopathy service to provide treatment in the comfort of your own home. The treatment is the same as you would receive in the clinic.

Cost: £50.00 (to be paid at the end of the treatment by cheque or cash. I am unable to accept payment by credit card)
