ABOUT REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is a preventative and healing form of massage, based on century’s old wisdom and experience. It relaxes the body, mind and spirit, providing energy and a feeling of well being.
The feet mirror your body and stimulating the nerve endings gently nudges the body towards better functioning and muscle relaxation.
It is now widely acknowledged by the medical profession that prolonged stress creates dysfunction in the body. Stress can be mentally, emotionally, physically or environmentally induced. Reflexology can negate the effects of stress by helping the body to relax, thus enabling the body to heal itself.
REIKI
Reiki comes from the Japanese words Rei Ki and loosely translated because it cannot be literally translated it has come to mean Universal life force energy.
When a person’s body is out of balance, any number of pains and symptoms can occur, causing the person to become ill. This can be in mind, body, or spirit and the energies will be depleted. Reiki will channel energy to the recipient and re-balance them.
To have a treatment the client will stay fully clothed except for shoes, lie comfortably on a couch, and relax. The practitioner places her hands on or near the client's body in a series of hand positions, including around the head, shoulders, stomach, legs and feet. For several minutes in each position. The client may possibly feel their bodies changing; they could possibly feel changes in temperature. This is the body re-arranging and balancing itself.
Reiki heals by flowing through the affected areas of your energy field and charging them with positive energy. Raising the vibratory level causing negative energies to fade, and allow the life force to flow in a natural and healthy way.
INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
Indian head massage is based upon the ayurvedic system. The treatment consists of massaging the upper back, neck, head and face. Thus leaving the recipient in a relaxed state.
