Welcome to al Covo
al Covo means ‘at the warm, safe place’. Our philosophy is simple... relax!
We offer a choice of Balinese, Indian, Thai, Japanese, Swedish and North American body and mind therapies. The range of therapies can prevent illness, reduce muscular and joint pain, relieve stress, warm the body, improve sleep, regenerate the skin, improve circulation, and help the body to balance...in a natural and pure way.
All treatments are carried out by Steve, who holds world-class VTCT holistic qualifications, is a member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists, and registered with the Federation of Holistic Therapists. We offer a beautiful relaxing environment, use the finest organic oils where available, and are proud of our holistic treatments and massage therapy in Southampton.
Our facilities
al Covo covers the ground floor of a 1840’s townhouse. There is 2 hours free parking for visitors along one side of the road. In addition to the treatment room, we have a WC, separate character room for consultations, and a sunkissed garden. We have created a calming therapeutic atmosphere by attention to detail:
- Hygiene - Fresh linen and robes for you, and the therapist has the highest personal hygiene standards.
- Décor – Large, character rooms with a marble working fireplace, bring warmth, luxury and comfort.
- Comfort – A choice of couches, chairs, pillows, and bolsters for you.
- Privacy – Dress and undress in the treatment room in private.
- Lighting – Soft and discrete with candlelight.
- Warmth– A steady 70-75°F with blankets and towels to keep the body warm as it cools after massage.
- Aromas– Well-ventilated and draught-free with a choice of scents.
- Music–Mobile phones are switched off, and relaxing music is played in the room that can be personally chosen by you. Please bring an mp3 player, iPOD or compact disc if you wish to listen to your own music.
Holistic treatment
This can vary from 20 minutes to 3 hours.
All prices are £35-£45 for an hour at al Covo. Your choice is:
