Safe in Our Hands Osteopathy was the first complementary health care profession to be accorded statutory recognition under the 1993 Osteopaths Act.
All registered osteopaths are required, through a programme of comprehensive and practical training, to be competent and safe in the practice of osteopathy.
The Practitioner
Elisabeth Bird is authorised by and registered with the General Osteopathic Council. That is she has reached the highest standard of competency and safety to become registered as an osteopath with the GOsC.
Elisabeth is a committed health professional, who ensures that each and every patient receives sufficient time, care and the correct treatment approach. Elisabeth is also a health features writer for various publications, and newspapers (both national and local). and has also been a featured expert for GMTV.
The Park Clinic understands the importance of ensuring that all patients receive comprehensive care. Osteopathic treatment does not start or finish within your appointment time. Lifestyle adaptations are an integral part of The Park Clinic ethos, and so Elisabeth also works closely with fitness experts at Core Fitness Studio in Falmouth - integrating Osteopathic treatment effectively with, expert fitness/nutritional advice when necessary.
