SERVICES

Welcome to MK Feet Podiatric Clinic

Treatments & Services

All foot problems can be assessed and treated by all the podiatrists, this includes everything normally considered as routine podiatry/chiropody, for example: Corns and callosities, nail problems, biomechanics (gait and stance analysis) and prescription of temporary and permanent orthotics or insoles, sports injuries, painful soft tissue problems such as verrucae and painful heels.

If you wish to have a more specialised assessment or treatment, for example to discuss more detailed surgical options about surgical correction of a toe deformity such as a bunion, or for a steroid injection for plantar fasciitis (heel pain), or to have an X ray, then please book in to see Mr Wardlaw FCPodS DPodM.

You can see Mr Wardlaw under your private health insurance scheme if you wish as he is recognised by all the major private health insurance companies as a foot specialist. Please phone the clinic to discuss this with Mr Wardlaw or a colleague BEFORE you phone your insurance company for your authorisation number. Your insurance company may ask you to see your GP for a referral letter to Mr Wardlaw. Mr Wardlaw will invoice your insurance company direct himself at the end of your course of treatment. Please see his page on this website for more details.

Mr Wardlaw is an an experienced clinician with a wide range of hospital and community posts over 30 years as a podiatrist and as a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon.

He operates at different hospitals, should you need foot surgery. However, his philosophy is to “try the simple things first” e.g. orthotics/insoles and to avoid surgery except where absolutely necessary.
