Core Process Psychotherapy
SERVICES
Core Process Psychotherapy helps you become aware of what is happening in your mind, body and energy system as we are sitting together. Regular weekly sessions provide a steady platform and a consistent pace for you to uncover what really matters inside, and help you find balance and resolution.
This work has a specific intention to connect with the inner-wisdom and health that is there at the core of your being. Allowing things to arise just as they are, you learn how to accept more aspects of yourself. As you look deeper inside, you start to discover what is driving your process. Over a period of time the mind comes back home and rests more fully in the body. In this way we develop presence.
Alone it is easy to stay stuck, but working together it becomes easier to let go of deeply held issues. Hidden parts of you may emerge, leading to a more complete and authentic approach to life. This is transformational work that is both challenging and rewarding, and can provide you with strength to meet life’s struggles, rather than turn away.
As a member of the Spiritual Crisis Network, Julian is experienced in helping people through profound shifts in awareness, for example, losing one’s sense of self, or going through a kundalini awakening. He is familiar with unusual states of mind that may be misunderstood elsewhere, and can help reground you.
Julian also specializes in psychosexual issues. He brings a broad-minded and non-judgmental approach to sexual addiction, and has helped many re-establish a sense of safety after sexual abuse. He is experienced working with sexual orientation and prejudice.
Julian has worked in men’s groups where he has also facilitated and taught. He understands the importance of developing a clear sense of male identity and belonging that benefits men in their relationships with women, as well as other men.
Julian’s practice stands on a firm foundation of body-based experience. He is trained to work with shock and trauma and is experienced in helping people drop out of circular thought patterns into direct feelings inside the body.
