DJEMBE WORKSHOPS
are experiential allowing for participants to 'have a go', whatever their level and experience. Repetition of techniques and rhythms promote right-left brain co-ordination, freeing the mind, providing an outlet for tension and creating relaxation. Pams has a natural flair for teaching and breaking down his art and builds a good rapport with students of all ages and abilities. Whether attending for fun or serious progression, Pams responds to every student in the class to give direction and encouragement to their individual level. Workshops cater for corporate team-buliding, schools, arts centres, disability and community groups.
PERFORMANCE
one of the originators of Afro-Manding style music, Pams takes the
traditional songs of his homeland and, inspired by the many countries and cultures he has expeienced, arranges musical accompaniments as never heard before. Joined by flute, sax and kora (the magical African harp), the band create an amazingly syncopated, musical Rhythmexperience! From one-man DJ accompaniment to full band performance, from veent openings to weddings, Pams and Rhythmexperience provide high class entertainment for many events.

Hand-carved and made in the Gambia by Pams and local craftsmen, our drums are sourced from sustainable woodlands. Professional drums for top quality sound, whatever your playing level. All sizes in stock 8"-22" diameter, 12"-26" tall. Goat skins available. All drum repairs undertaken. For those interested in skinning their own drum Pams offers re-skinning and maintenance workshops.
