BRISTOL YOGA SPACE is a new yoga class and yoga therapy studio in central Bristol.
BRISTOL YOGA SPACE offers a range of yoga classes and lessons suitable for complete beginners and more advanced practitioners.
The studio also specialises in yoga therapy, applying the tools of yoga (postures, breath techniques, lifestyle choices, and meditation) for therapeutic support to improve a wide range of health conditions.
About the classes
Bristol Yoga Space has friendly yoga classes that accomodate a range of abilities. Classes are suitable for complete beginners and also provide appropriate challenges for more experienced practitioners. The class size is limited to allow for personal attention when needed.
Classes are held weekly and registration is termly with fees payable in advance. You are also welcome to come along and try a sample class if there are spaces. Also if there are spaces after the term starts, individual classes may be booked.
Some students with particular health conditions or needs may prefer private lessons or some preparation work in an individual setting before joining a group class.
Class descriptions
All levels - these classes welcome complete beginners and more experienced practitioners. The small, friendly classes provide suitable challenges for all levels and will adapt postures to your ability so there are appropriate challenges for everyone. The class aims to develop strength, balance, flexibility, calmness, stability and provide us with space in our busy lives.
Improvers - suitable for those with 1+ years experience of yoga who are familiar with the basic postures. The class is aimed at developing strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, calmness and stability, and on enhancing our yoga practice through breath techniques which will be introduced as we go.
Pregnancy yoga - yoga adapted and specially designed to support pregnancy, preparation for birth and post-natal recovery. Smaller class size for personal attention ensuring safe and effective yoga is practiced. Further info coming soon.
Private lessons
One-to-one lessons or private groups lessons by arrangement.
