About Marita Tjolle Bowen Therapist
My name is Marita and I am a fully qualified Bowen Therapist living in Hampshire. I attained my qualifications through The European College of Bowen Studies. I have had an interest in holistic therapies for many years and have used homeopathy regularly on my family and myself. I have trained and qualified in teaching and supporting adults on a voluntary basis. I am also a First Aid Appointed Person and hold an Anatomy & Physiology (ITEC) diploma.
I have been using the Bowen technique with great success - do have a look at the case studies link to give you an idea of how this wonderful technique can help. If you have any questions do call or e-mail me and I will be pleased to discuss them.
What made me do it?
I first tried Bowen treatment out when I had severe back pain, and visited my Doctor, Osteopath and Physiotherapist, and used pain killers to no avail - then I tried BOWEN!
This first treatment after a short time allowed me to move without intense pain and realise that I could carry on with my life again. Now I sound rather like the converted, I was hooked. In a short time my back pain was resolved, along with an old knee injury. From that point I just had to find out more - the more I read the more convinced I became that this was a wonderful treatment. The training has been inspiring, the treatments are even better.
A Bit about Bowen!
Bowen is a most remarkable healing tool as it is all-embracing in its effectiveness.
Many talented and experienced professional practitioners such as physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, and sports therapists have been amazed at the simplicity and efficacy of this cost-effective, powerful, non-invasive and gentle form of healing and have now chosen to use it in preference to or alongside their own modalities.
This dynamic hands-on therapy is quick, gentle and very effective. Revolutionising healthcare around the world, Bowen can be an effective treatment for:
- Muscular and skeletal back and neck problems
- Frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and R.S.I.
- Accident and sports injuries
- Problems with posture and body alignment
- Migraine and recurring headaches
- Respiratory, bronchial and related conditions such as hay-fever and asthma
Bowen can be of help in many cases of emotional illness where relaxation is a prime factor in easing pain and anxiety. It is often a great help in improving the quality of life for the terminally ill.
