Our existing patients come to us from all over West Cumbria and range in age from new born babies to 90+ years. We have experience in treating a wide range of physical problems. Back and neck pain are the most common complaints but we also treat:- headaches, neck and shoulder tension
- sciatica
- joint and muscle strain involving the hip, knee, ankle, foot, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand or jaw
- back and joint pain during pregnancy
- repetitive strain injury and other work-related problems
- sports injuries
- the stiffness and pain associated with osteoarthritis
We also treat babies and children for a variety of problems.
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is an established and recognised system of diagnosis and treatment which lays its emphasis on the mechanical structure of the body.
Osteopaths examine the structure and function of the body and how parts of the body (bones, joints, ligaments, discs, muscles, tendons and nerves) work together.
