Welcome to Toddington Osteopathic Medicine Clinic
Toddington Osteopathic Medicine Clinic was established in 2007 by husband & wife team, Sean & Deborah Barnaville, with a mission statement of providing osteopathic care to Toddington & surrounding villages that would support our patients in optimising their health. Fortunately, our many testimonials reflect the standard of care provided at the clinic.
Following a short battle with cancer, Sean died in 2008. Sean ran the clinic with a passionate belief in osteopathic medicine, with a smile on his face & great empathy for all of our patients. Sean made the clinic what it is today. The clinic is Sean’s legacy & it is my privilege to continue our dream.
There have been a number of changes at the clinic in logistics over the past year, however, the standard of care & our mission statement has not faltered.
In September 2009 Anjlee Bakrania & Nicola Finneron joined the team at Toddington Osteopathic Medicine Clinic. This has enable d our busy clinic to provide more appointment slots from 8am-10pm Monday to Friday & on Saturdays 9am-6pm.
All of our osteopaths are registered with the General Osteopathic Council and the British Osteopathic Association and are qualified first aid certificate holders.
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a unique system of clinical diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation, primarily of musculo - skeletal problems of the spinal and peripheral joints, ligaments and muscles.
When the body is balanced and efficient, just like a well tuned engine, it will function with the minimum of wear and tear. Osteopaths seek to restore the optimal functioning of the body and aid its intrinsic ability to heal.
Osteopathy recognises that much of the pain and disability we suffer stems from abnormalities in our body’s structure and function.
