About Us
Active Recovery are a mother and daughter team (Tanya and Kirsty Milne) specialising in Deep Tissue massage techniques. We have been operating a massage service in the East Midlands (Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire) for more than fifteen years. The company was formed in 1997 to provide a full Sports Massage Service to sports clubs and athletes within the Charnwood area, Leicestershire, and to organisations whose personnel are exposed to heavy physical exertion during the course of their normal working routine, e.g. the Emergency Services.
In addition to offering a therapeutic service to athletes and other sports persons, our aims include promoting the benefits of Complementary Therapies to a wider clientele than that of the sport and athletic community. We also help to support both local and national charities and we operate the Active School of Complementary Therapy (ASCT) which provides CPD workshops/courses and a level 5 diploma course in soft tissue therapy.
