Massage and Body work has been part of my life since the late 1980’s.

- Stress management
Since gaining my degree I have had the opportunity of working for various clinics and a well known high street natural remedies retailer. This was followed by health science application within the health and safety team in local government applying my health sciences to the work force, within the H&S frame work producing reports and recommendation; dealing with symptoms aggravated by poor work layout or equipment. An understanding of the correct referral for treatment or relevant department was essential.
Working for myself as a therapist during this period has given me a unique perspective and the possibility to reach people, who may have never been exposed to health sciences and therapeutic interventions (till it was too late). Health is a balance and early intervention and management is essential to maintain its equilibrium.
Recent development in the last two years has been involvement with pregnancy, my best friend’s journey through pregnancy and beyond. Our involvement with the North London active birth movement was a process which empowered my friend to stay in control of her pregnancy and have the natural birth she wanted.
My interests range from music, movement therapies, meditation, advanced Pilates, Qigong, swimming and various yoga modalities. This experiences in these disciplines have given me the opportunity to work with people experiencing awareness through movement and the control they gain from practice. My work is complimentary and speeds the recovery or understanding of my clients experience. Currently working to develop my practice and looking for opportunities where existing skills can be developed.
