Counselling takes place when two people agree to engage in dialogue with the joint aim of bringing about insight and change for the benefit of the person seeking help.
Alex Marsden Dip I am a fully qualified Adlerian counsellor. I have completed over five years of training on courses which covered a wide variety of different approaches, although the work of Alfred Adler forms the basis for most of my work.

I have also done a variety of other work, including signwriting, slate engraving, foundry work, automotive and marine design and engineering.
I have an M.A in fine art and spent seven years lecturing in applied fine art (life drawing, body casting, illustration and mould making) at the University of the Arts, London.
