If you have found me then you have already decided that you need to make some changes in your life. You have probably had a wake-up call, forcing you to re-evaluate everything around you.

My wake-up call came in 2002 when I fell off my motorbike and broke my collar-bone. The bone took five months to health with the ongoing threat of surgery, pins and plates. I realised then that I needed to find ways to help myself and began extensive studying, which led to a whole new career in private natural healthcare. I opened my first clinic in 2003 and started teaching others soon after.

Over the years I have achieved qualifications and collected certificates in various natural, holistic, complementary, alternative, functional and integrative healthcare modalities, including a doctorate and PhD in Integrative Medicine. My PhD research focused on preventative medicine and empowering people to help themselves. Today I combine the best of my studies and experience and my natural intuitive ability to offer a unique, dynamic, consciousness-lead mind-body-soul approach to health and well-being.

My passion is to help you find the happy, healthy and purposeful life that you deserve.

My Approach

My approach follows the philosophy that our healing comes from within. Healing is, therefore, a personal journey, and it is our responsibility to find what is the right approach and who is the right facilitator for us at any given time. I believe that if you have found me, then I am part of your journey at least for now.

My approach also follows the philosophy that our physical symptoms and dis-ease are merely the tip of the iceberg. To truly heal, we have to examine and heal the story behind the symptoms and dis-ease. This story can include anything, such as periods of stress in your life, physical and deep-seated emotional trauma, your limiting belief systems, your learned and inherited conditioning, your relationships with others, your interaction with your environment and your lifestyle choices.

Although I am a doctor of integrative medicine (IMD), I am not a medical doctor (MD) whose role it is to diagnose a disease or prescribe drugs. I cannot, therefore, discuss or comment on your prescribed medication or provide you with a medical diagnosis. I can help you to balance your system, potentially reducing your need for medication and any possible side effects that you might be experiencing. This natural balancing approach is mostly energy-based, although it might involve hands-on healing, gentle tapping, gentle massage and structural realignment. I am qualified to help you make beneficial changes to your diet, your exercise regime, your lifestyle choices and make recommendations for the use of nutritional supplements, healing foods, herbs and natural remedies.

Lesley has a Doctorate and PhD in Integrative Medicine, a Masters degree in English and Psychology, she is a BodyTalk Instructor, Advanced BodyTalk Practitioner, PaRama BodyTalk Practitioner, Reiki Master / Teacher, Systematic Kinesiologist and a Nutritional Consultant.
