Integrative counsellor
SERVICES People enter counselling for many different reasons. You may be going through a difficult time and are looking for a supportive space in which to offload, explore or better understand your experience. Alternatively, you may have a specific problem such as low self esteem or assertiveness issues that you wish to address or to learn some new life skills to enhance your wellbeing.
This confidential and supportive environment enables you to express your thoughts and feelings freely without being judged or given advice. This process will assist you in gaining a clearer understanding of problems and promote personal growth and change.
I work from an integrative framework which, in practice, means that I can adapt my approach to meet individual needs. All clients are different and unique with their issues and concerns. Such diversity requires a flexible and open approach to meet these needs.
I consider the relationship between counsellor and client to be essential to the therapeutic process. The first appointment will be an opportunity for us to meet each other, to assess your circumstances and for us to decide mutually what your needs are and whether we can comfortably work together.
Fees are £35.00 per 50 minute session
