Having qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Sport Science, exercise and Nutrition, I decided there was more to Nutrition and exercise than meets the eye. I went to study at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition where I gained further qualifications and experience over 3 years of Intensive studying. From here I was chosen to work for one of the leading private health organisations in the world, British United Provident Association or better known as BUPA and Spire healthcare where I have worked with some of the leading Professors, Doctors and Consultants in the UK and Europe. Whilst working for these visionary leaders in healthcare I have seen in excess of 15,000 clients advising them on exercise, health and nutritional related areas.
I also have 13 years of experience in Phlebotomy and I am now a qualified trained level 3 advanced Phlebotomist practitioner which is essential for any clinical consultants and with this in mind I have a rapid TAT (turn around time) for functional testing from the laboratories I use.
I am very experienced in helping clients with a range of ailments. In many cases it may be simply to prevent an unwanted health problem from occurring, but for most it is just to improve their current situations
I believe in using real science and evidence in helping patients with the latest laboratory tests and advanced diagnostic equipment. Only the best next generation diagnostic equipment and tests are and will be used in the screening process.
Personal Introduction
My name is Spencer and I am a Clinical Cardiac Physiologist and Nutritional Consultant. My practice is in Barton le clay Beds which is 2 minutes from the picturesque Barton Springs. The clinic is easily accessible via train (Thames link Harlington, then a taxi 5mins), Bus (via the A6) or car (from Bedford or Luton A6, Hitchin-A1M Hexton rd and M1 junction 12 Harlington).
I believe Good health starts with diet and lifestyle factors combined with a consistent supply of good nutrients that we should consume. With so much conflicting and confusing advice and information in the public domain about your health needs it is easy to be confused.
I am convinced that with a little help and advice in the right direction you can help yourself to a healthier optimal level with minimal effort.
