About Me
Everybody experiences difficulties at some time in their life. Sometimes it is not easy to talk to the people who are close to you. I can offer you acceptance, understanding and honesty, giving you a safe place in which you can explore your difficulties. My service is completely confidential and I work within the BACP ethical framework.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a B.A in psychology and a post graduate diploma in integrative psychotherapy. I have worked in a voluntary capacity for a local church for several years and have worked with people experiencing a range of difficulties including depression,OCD, anxiety, eating disorders, marital and relationship difficulties etc.
I also work for the Preston branch of survivors trust, working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, victims of sexual violence and relatives and carers of survivors and victims.
I believe that as counsellors we have a resposibility to update our knowledge and personal development and have a proffessional supervisor and personal counsellor and attend courses on a regular basis.

Fees
I offer an initial 30 min consultation and asssessment either by phone or face to face without charge. each 1 hour session after that is £35
