A Little About Me
My journey started when I was meeting my guides; i meet them in mediation. In this meditation I found myself in a garden, but it was a very formal laid out garden which just appears in this meditation. With none of my thoughts involved at all. Which seemed strange but I decided to just go along with it, to see what would happen, and that was when my first guide appeared.
She was waiting for me in this garden. And when she saw me in my mind in the meditation I heard her say to me, hi john we have been waiting for you. As this came into my head she was waiving to me to come over to her and meet her as I came within 15ft over of the being, I was covered with great feeling of love that surround me and both my inner being that was in the garden and my physical body seating the chair felt this love that is just unexplainable enveloping me. And if I could I would have stay there forever with this feelings cover me.
Reiki Treatment
The Japanese word Reiki means "Universal Energy". Eastern medicine has always recognised and worked with this energy, which flows through all living things and is vital to the well being of life. The energy is known as "Ki" in Japan, "Chi" in China, and "Prana" in India. Acupuncture, tai chi and yoga are also based on the free-flow of this energy in a person.
What are the Benefits?
The energy of Reiki can be used to great effect in many ways. Whether one is suffering from stress or tension, and the many symptoms associated with this, or wishing to improve the quality of relationships at home or work, beneficial effect of Reiki occur on many levels.
Reiki can accelerate the healing of physical problems, balance the emotion, and free us from restrictive mental attitudes. It may also provide a closer connection with inner wisdom.
Reiki encourages and supports positive personal change such as improving the diet, having more rest, exercise or leisure time, and, may reduce the need for alcohol and tobacco. Reiki can allow us to respond more calmly to all events and build on a more resourceful state of being.
Reiki is a gentle energy and may be used safety by all ages, including the newborn, pregnant mothers, surgical patients, the frail and the elderly, regardless of their state of health. Reiki can enhance everyday life, and regular sessions help to ward-off illness and fatigue.
Reiki is a non-invasive therapy that can be used without fear of any side effects or overdose. It may be used with confidence alongside conventional medication or natural remedies because it acts in a complementary way.
Reiki is being used in GP surgeries, hospices, cancer support groups, post-operative recovery, drug rehabilitation, prisons, HIV/AIDS centers, and care of the elderly.
What Happens During a Session?
A session is usually carried out with the client lying down or sitting in a comfortable and peaceful environment. There is no need to remove any clothing.
The practitioner places their hands gently in a series of positions over the body. The client's system automatically draws in only as much Reiki as it needed, using it in whatever way is most appropriate at the time.
Reiki may be felt as a flow of energy, mild tingling, warmth, coolness, other sensations or nothing al all. Reiki is deeply relaxing, eases stress, and has a calming effect.
Treatment is enhanced if one can rest for a while afterwards and drink plenty of water to help the body detoxify. Be responsive to the needs of your body, i.e. resting if tired, and allow the energy to continue its work after the session ends. The beneficial effects may be felt for several days after.
How Often Do I Need To Have A Treatment?
Although even one Reiki session can make a difference, it is usually more effective to have a course of regular treatments. This may be weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on the needs of the individual.
A treatment plan will be discussed with you and reviewed as necessary. This will always be subject to your own preferences, and can be changed at any time according to progress.
Crystal Therapy
The aim of CRYSTAL HEALING is to restore wholeness, balance and health on levels of emotions, mind, spirit as well as the physical body. This is why crystal healing is considered complementary to allopathic medicine and not an alternative. Crystal Healing often involves some form of change in a client's overall way of being. It may be through a relief of stress and tensions, through revitalisation, relaxation or establishing a greater amount of peace and harmony. Crystal Healing is also helpful in complementing most forms of allopathic medical practice. Apart from promoting 'wellness' and helping to prevent physical illness, it can be of use in the following circumstances:
- Both acute and chronic conditions
- Stress related conditions
- States of anxiety
- Pre-operative care
- Post-operative healing
- Care of the terminally ill
- Activate and support the natural self-healing processes within the individual client
- Support the recovery of existing symptoms
How does Crystal Healing work?
Crystal Healers are not permitted or trained to diagnose physical ailments. They do however assess the condition of the bio-magnetic field of a client before choosing appropriate crystals to help bring it back into balance and harmony. Since the state of the bio-magnetic field relates to and influences the state of the physical body, this process will help activate, support and often accelerate the natural self-healing processes. It may be of interest to note that this field, also known as the electro magnetic field or aura, has been discussed and contemplated within the realm of healing and philosophy for thousands of years. It is only fairly recently that science has proven that it must exist around every physical body and organism, thereby helping, amongst other, to validate crystal healing.
What to expect during a healing session from a client's point of view:
You will be asked to fill in a form with your details, the name of your GP or specialist and have a brief chat concerning your reasons for seeking healing. The healer will then ask you to either sit on a chair or lay down (fully clothed) on a massage couch, in which case you will be asked to remove your shoes. He/she will then make sure that you are relaxed and comfortable and may place a few small crystals on or around you and channel healing. You may experience a feeling of deep relaxation, sometimes a little warmth or coolness during the session. Most treatments take approximately one hour.
Crystal Healing Regulations:
The governing body that has set national minimum standards for crystal healing is the British Crystal Healers (BCH), the founders of which are the two main crystal healing umbrella organizations in the UK, The Crystal & Healing Federation and the Affiliation of Crystal Healing Organisations. All therapists who have trained with BCH member schools are qualified to a high standard, insured and must adhere to a strict code of conduct. They also attend Continual Professional Development studies each year.
