This is the ultimate ayurvedic kalari therapeutic massage, uses the therapists foot to carry out long, smooth, flowing strokes over the entire length of the body. The recipient lies flat on the floor - the body cushioned by mats and towels - the limbs are placed in specific positions to aid comfort and encourage free flow of energy. The therapist applies feet and hands during this treatment, holding on to a support rope to perform this therapy.When using the foot, various strokes are performed and certain parts of the foot can be utilised to achieve depth and precision in areas that may need more attention. The practitioner uses his/her foot to travel the whole length of the body in one sweeping, flowing stroke, creating a wonderful deep continuous movement, working from the tips of the fingers to the toes.. This results in a particularly deep and remedial treatment where no muscle, ligament or tendon is left untouched.

Shirodhara massage is a luxuriant and easy way to achieve instant calm and rejuvenation. it derives from two sanskrit words: shiro and dhara. shiro means head and dhara means to flow. it involves the warm and consistent flow of medicated ayurvedic oils on the forehead, specifically on the ‘third eye'. this is the chakra point just above and between the eyebrows. it is said to be the seat of human consciousness. the oils are allowed to flow over the scalp and through the hair, creating a blissful sensation. excellent for a good night's sleep and also for the treatment of various physiological and nervous disorders. a 50 minutes full body massage is also part of the shirodhara. shower facility is provided if necessary.
