About Us
At Benessere we run a specialist Health Care Clinic currently two days each month. Treatments include; Reflexology, Reiki, Acupressure Back Massage, Healthy Steps, Aromatherapy, Health Care Therapy, Crystal Zone Therapy, Touch Therapy and Thermo-Auricular Therapy
Our Health Care Specialist, Jackie, is highly qualified in her field and has over 10 years experience in providing Health Care and Well Being Therapies.
The treatments we offer create many beneficial effects including relaxation, feeling of peace, security and wellbeing.
Our treatment rooms provide a warm, comfortable environment for you to relax during your session usually lasting 30 minutes or one hour.
Your first appointment includes answering a questionnaire. This will enable us to find out what is happening with regard to your health and allows us to establish which therapy would be most beneficial for you.

Our Health Care Specialist, Jackie, comes from a scientific background within the NHS where she worked as a Biomedical Scientist within the Birmingham area. This professional career has given her extensive understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the body and related medical problems. Jackie has been involved in many research projects and has published several papers.
Jackie has always been facinated with Aromatherapy and its effects on the body. In 2000 she had the opportunity to become a volunteer for the Red Cross working in residential and nursing homes. This experience led her to want to explore more her passion for Aromatherapy and utilize her scientific knowledge.
She pursued her education in Complementary Therapies and in 2004 formed her own Health and Wellbeing company. Her company is a social enterprise organisation and has a special interest in cancer and Parkinsons diease patients.
They have successfully intergrated their therapies into hospitals and health care organisations referrals being received from cancer support organisations.
Realising many of her clients would benefit, both physically and emotionally, from gentle exercise, in 2007 Jackie qualified as an instructor for "Healthy Steps Exercise". She is one of the licenced and certified instructors in the UK and now incorporates this foundation programme into her therapy sessions..
Jackie's company has recently completed pilot studies for an NHS trust and Cancer Support Centre for the exercise programme and will be publishing their findings in medical literature.
Jackie enjoys both teaching and learning and is currently studying to become one of the first UK trainers for the Healthy Steps Exercise Programme.
