I specialise in treating and relieving muscular and joint pain using advanced deep tissue massage techniques and myofascial release, combined with or used separately to acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
There are many problems which can be treated with acupuncture or massage including: Back Pain, Neck and Shoulder Pain, Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI), Sciatica, Wrist and Elbow Pain, Hip & Lower Back Pain, Frozen Shoulder, Insomnia, Stress and Tension, Fatigue and General Tiredness.
Gentle relaxation therapies are also available for those who simply wish to unwind and relax at the end of a busy day. Appointments are available Tuesday to Friday up to 9pm and on Saturdays until 7pm.
About UsI have been working with complementary therapies since 1999 and have a passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine and advanced therapeutic massage.
I have travelled extensively both in the UK and overseas to learn the best techniques to help my patients restore a sense of health and vitality.
I like to fuse together specialist techniques of deep tissue and clinical massage, acupressure and acupuncture which I have studied over the last 10-years at some of the UK’s leading massage institutions and overseas, including the Shandong University in China.
As a qualified acupuncturist, I am also able to introduce needles to my treatments, which can powerfully enhance the benefits and results.
Having such a wide range of skills, every person I see is given a detailed consultation before we agree how best to work together to achieve the best results. In my therapeutic work, I have treated people with all manner of aches and pains including, back neck and shoulder pain, sciatica, hip, lumbar, knee and ankle problems. As a member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage, I have also had extensive experience of treating runners and sports enthusiasts and have had great results when treating a wide range of ailments including rotator cuff, knee and hamstring injuries as well as more complex problems, such as frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and plantar fasciitis.
I passionately believe in rehabilitative exercise and am an advocate of yoga. I am currently working towards my yoga teacher/therapist training, which will see me travelling to the US in 2011.
