Unfortunately the press and society today has encouraged everyone to tell the ‘horrors’ of their birth story - and this will be no different to your friends and family. One Born Every Minute has assisted with making this so called ‘horror’ a reality, but it needn’t be thought of with fear! Because of the media, women today have been conditioned to believe that birth is associated with excruciating pain. This extreme pain causes the stress hormone to take over the body and our bodies become so tense with this fear that normal physiological birth is compromised.

By undertaking this very simple program, you will begin to trust your body and that it understands and knows how to bring your baby into the world.
About Me
I am a Registered Midwife, I studied at the University of Worcester and I can currently be found working in a beautiful Midwifery Led Unit (MLU). I am a fully certified and qualified HypnoBirthing Practitioner and as if I wasn’t busy enough working and looking after husband Steve, my two girls, one dog, one cat and one guinea pig, I can also be found studying for my Clinical Hypnotherapy qualification with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis.

Being a part of all of these organisations means that I work within a strict code of ethics and follow rules and standards.
Why HypnoBirthing? Well it all started when I began working in the MLU. I cared for several women and their birth companions when I started working here and they completely amazed me!!!! I have always been in awe of women and the power that they all demonstrate when birthing their babies, but HypnoBirthing women just didn’t follow anything that I had learnt in training or out of a book! These women came in.... and they had babies... they simply breathed their babies out. If I had followed the National guidelines that say what we should see and feel to diagnose labour well... I wouldn’t have said that they were in labour at all, which is why it is so powerful and empowering!
I now teach this amazing subject - and it works... I’ve seen it work and I’ve seen how it gives women and their birth companions the knowledge to re-learn the physiology of labour and birth and give them the belief in themselves.....

Have you ever lost yourself in a book or a film?

If you have answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, then you have already experienced an altered state of consciousness. This is similar to HypnoBirthing; you are aware of what is going on around you, but just ‘lost’ in the moment.
HypnoBirthing gives women the skills to enable themselves to go into a deep state of relaxation.
No HypnoBirthing Practitioner can make a woman do anything against her will.
HypnoBirthing® classes will allow you to practice the relaxation, visualisation and breathing techniques at home and will help you to reduce the stresses of pregnancy and what life may throw at you during this special time, our philosophy is that birth is a celebration and not to be feared.
HypnoBirthing® classes can be undertaken from 14 weeks pregnant. If you are due any time soon, we can still get together and learn some techniques that you can use. Its never too late!

CloudNine Courses
HypnoBirthing® classes can be undertaken from 14 weeks pregnant. Classes are designed around a consecutive 5 week syllabus with each class lasting 2 1/2 hours.
Everyone can and will benefit from this course! if you are booked to have your baby by Caesarean Section - this course can benefit you!
If you have had a Caesarean Section prior to this pregnancy and are planning a Vaginal Birth After Caesarean (VBAC) - this course is perfect for you!

£280 per couple (minimum 2 couples - maximum of 5) at My Two Feet, DY6 0JT
£350 one to one in your own home (mileage is payable at 45p per mile after the first 30 miles).

A £50 non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking and full payment must be paid 7 days before the start of the course.
10% discount if course is booked and paid for before 20 weeks of pregnancy. Of course you can choose a time to suit you, but if you book before 20 weeks you will get your discount!
