I have always had a keen interest in complementary therapies. Having worked for several years in an office environment, I decided to change my lifestyle and retrain as a complementary therapist.
I have done much of my training through the internationally recognised ITEC examining board.

Massage Treatments
Massage therapy is recognised as one of the oldest methods of healing dating back nearly 4000 years.
Massage therapy improves the musculoskeletal, circulatory, lymphatic, nervous and other body systems. Benefiting the overal health and well being of the body.
Here at Complete Therapies we offer four types of massage therapy; Aromatherapy Massage, Swedish Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage and Hot Stone Massage.

Aromatherapy Massage
Aromatherapy oils can be used to treat many conditions, such as stress, insomnia, muscular aches and pains to name but a few. Aromatherapy oils can greatly enrich a massage treatment.

Swedish Massage
Swedish massage focuses on improving the circulation, muscle relaxation and the overall health and well being of the body.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic Drainage Massage uses light rhythmic strokes to alleviate various conditions related to the body's lymphatic system, helping to flush toxins and drain fluid from the body, supporting a healthy immune system.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage can help treat conditions such as: odema, acne, sinus problems and puffy face and eyes.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone massage uses hot basalt stones in conjunction with Swedish massage techniques to help improve the circulation and to relax tired and aching muscles. The heat form the stones creates a very soothing and warming massage.

Hopi Ear Candling
The candle generate a warm comforting feeling, while it draws out impurities from the ear. The procedure lasts around 10 minutes and is then repeated on the other ear. Hopi Ear Candling can help treat balance and inner ear problems, build up of wax, tinnitus, headaches and migranes, vertigo and sinus problems.
A facial massage following Hopi Ear Candling will continue the drainage process and aid further relaxation.

Waxing
Waxing offers a long lasting hair removal method, you get the benefit of smooth legs for up to 3 to 4 weeks. Hairs grow back thinner over time.
Treatment begins with the area being cleansed, the wax is then applied. Following hair removal a soothing post wax cream is applied.
