I am a professional and successful Psychotherapist, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Reiki Master and I draw on the latest research in counselling/psychotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy to help you with a wide range of psychological, emotional, habitual and health related problems. I recognise and respect that each person is unique and I work with you to become the best you can be. My clients are drawn from all over North East England - Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, Durham, Sunderland and Middlesbrough.
My practice is grounded in the conviction that all of us have a largely untapped capacity to understand ourselves and to improve our own health and well being. I look forward to welcoming you as a client and helping you to overcome your problem.
Consultations
I offer a sensitive and compassionate psychotherapy and hypnotherapy service for women, looking at problems from a woman's perspective. Reiki is offered free of charge to counselling/psychotherapy clients.
Psychotherapy with Clinical Hypnotherapy or Guided Imagery
In my Psychotherapy practice I combine counselling (drawing on a number of counselling therapies as appropriate) with clinical hypnosis or guided imagery to help you with emotional, health and stress related problems. Each session lasts up to 1 hour and 30 minutes making it a very effective treatment. In addition I offer Reiki free of charge for clients who have been deeply distressed. This unique method of working has made my counselling/psychotherapy practice one of the most successful in the Newcastle area.
Clinical Hypnotherapy
Some problems can be treated by clinical hypnotherapy alone. I will advise you when you ring or email for a free consultation.
Past Life Regression
In addition there is also the opportunity to journey to a past life. Past life regression may help you to understand and heal present life problems and gain insight into you own personality and life direction.

Reiki - Healing Energy
Reiki is a versatile healing system based on the channelling of energy. It is a holistic system for balancing, healing and harmonising all aspects of the person - body, mind, emotions and spirit. It can be used to encourage personal and spiritual awareness and growth.
Known as Prana in India and Ki in Japan, Reiki is a natural healing energy which is channelled through the practitioner's body to the recipient. It is a safe, gentle, non-intrusive, hands-on healing technique which uses spiritual energy to treat physical and emotional ailments.
This natural healing energy works on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level, increasing the energy flow throughout the entire body, and stimulating the body's natural healing process, which, in turn, relieves stress, depression and pain.
QUALIFICATION DETAILS
BA(Hons)degree in Psychology and an MA in Counselling from Durham University
Postgraduate diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. NHS approved training.
